Notices and points of contact

How to tell us about something illegal or against the rules, and what we do with it.

Points of contact

For authorities of the member states, the Commission and the Board under the Digital Services Act, and for anyone sending a notice: abuse@prodrooms.com. We read it in English. Che Israel Olea runs Prodrooms; the Terms say where we are.

Sending a notice

Tell us where the content is, what it is, and why you believe it is illegal or against the content policy, with an address we can answer. A complete notice is looked at by a person. We confirm we received it, we decide, and we tell you what we decided and why. Nothing here is decided by a machine alone.

Statement of reasons

When we restrict something (remove content, time an account out, ban it from a room or from the service, or turn a feature off) the person concerned gets a statement of reasons: what was done, the facts it rests on, which part of the content policy or the law applies, whether a notice led to it, and how to appeal. It arrives by email and it is on their standing page, where the appeal is one button.

Appeals

Every appealable action can be appealed once from the standing page. A person looks at it, not a machine, and the decision lands on the same page. A notice sender who disagrees with a decision writes to the contact above.

Abuse

Harassment, threats, someone under 18 at risk, scams, spam: report it from inside the room (the Report button carries the last minute of the stage when you say so) or from a profile. Outside the product, the form above reaches the same queue. Emergencies go to your local emergency number first.

The safety page explains what the rules are and how they are kept. Copyright has its own page.
